Although Nokia have been touting their N97 mobile as a handheld personal computer , they have now unexpectedly joined the netbook bandwagon. Nokia has recently announced their new Nokia Booklet 3G to be released soon.

The Booklet 3G has a 10.1″ screen , HDMI output , 3G/HSDPA ports with hot-swappable SIM card and assisted GPS so you can run Ovi Maps on the mini laptop.

Nokia claims it has a 12-hour battery life and can squeeze off of a single full charge. This is one of its biggest advantage and its gonna break Asus’s record with the 1000HE.

This mini laptop will run Windows 7 powered by an Intel Atom (the Z series) . It will be made of aluminum with chiclet-style keyboard, weighs at 1.25kg, under 20mm thin, with WiFi and Bluetooth.

Will give you guys full update on the price and the rest of the specs , from the Nokia World 2009 on September 2.
