The new Lenovo ThinkPad T400s series is an ultralight and slim laptop for the business and enterprise market. This Thinkpad is one of the lightest in the 14″ category at just 1.77kg or 3.91 lbs. (as a point of comparison, the 14″ Acer Timeline is 1.9kg and the 12.1″ HP Pavillion DV2 is 1.73kg). It’s also just 0.83″ thin at its thickest base.

The 3G SIM slot is under the battery compartment but Lenovo says it’s currently locked to Verizon ( in the US). There are also options for WWAN, WiMax and Ultra WideBand (GPS).

Lenovo also changes some keyboard sizes with specific focus on the extra-large delete (DEL) and escape (ESC) keys.
