The Department of Justice (DOJ) had just dismissed the 25-million worth of libel case filed by  hunk actor Richard Gutierrez against showbiz news website Philippine Entertainment Portal ( PEP ). The court decision pronounced the case filed as “lack of probable cause.”

It can be recalled that last April 13 , Richard Gutierrez filed the complaint against the three employees of PEP namely , editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon, managing editor Karen Pagsolingan, and staff writer Bong Godinez.

Richard claimed that the three persons had maliciously published an article last March 29 that accused him of pointing a gun to Michael Flores.

The dismissal resolution executed by DOJ  was given to PEP’s Attorney Sandy Coronel last Thursday at around 9:10AM.
