Smartmatic TIM Corporation , the contractor chosen by the Philippine Government to make possible the automated elections next year, is as of this time starting to hire more than 40,000 IT workers needed for the upcoming 2010 Philippine Elections. Training of this new employees will start in January next year to prepare them for the May elections.
